Responsibilities
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various marketing materials, including advertisements, websites, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, brochures, and more.
Conduct research to understand the target audience's needs, preferences, and behaviors to tailor the messaging appropriately.
Ensure that all written content aligns with the brand's tone, voice, and messaging guidelines.
Generate creative and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and advertising materials, often in collaboration with a creative team or art director.
For digital content, optimize copy for search engines (SEO) to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website.
Review and edit your own work and the work of others to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, and consistency.
Be able to adapt writing style and tone to suit different channels and mediums, whether it's a formal press release, a catchy social media post, or a product description.
Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop and execute content strategies that align with overall campaign objectives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and marketing to ensure that your work remains current and competitive.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Advertising
2+ years' of copywriting experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
