Job Summary



  • The travel agent shall oversee the day-to-day running of the firm and its major responsibilities shall include client relationship management, visa applications across different countries including the Schengen visa, design and market travel packages, and general travel advice to clients.

  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate sufficient experience to advise and meet the needs of clients in the areas of travel, immigration support, visa processing, hospitality, and tourism. S/he must be able to help with the selection of the most appropriate options taking into consideration the time and financial budget of the client. Also, s/he would be responsible for informing clients of cancellation procedures and any applicable penalties.


Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency.

  • Process visas and develop travel solutions.

  • Responding to inquiries about our company's services and offerings.

  • Determining each client's requirements, including destinations, length of stay, and transit time.

  • Ensuring that clients pay the deposit before you commence with bookings.

  • Informing clients about the cancellation policy, including salient dates and all penalties.

  • Ascertaining and adhering to the available budget.

  • Selecting the most appropriate transport based on the available finances, requisite departure and arrival times, and preferred duration of transit.

  • Securing accommodation that is best suited to the budget and location of choice.

  • Planning excursions based on each client's needs and interests.

  • Accounting for mobility and medical needs during each phase of the trip planning process.


Key Requirements



  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a relevant field.

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience as a travel agent with expertise in visa application procedures

  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.

  • Exceptional research and professional writing skills

  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.

  • A knack for delivering multiple outputs within tight turnaround times, as needed.

  • Highly organized and strong time management skills

  • Detail and result-oriented

  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills

  • Ability to deliver commendable services that surpass client's expectations
