Job Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and provide estimates to make necessary repairs.


• Prepares, records and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.


• Assist in evaluating and checking for necessity and cost of repairs to the automobile.


• Assist in estimation and list repair and labor costs in a comprehensible order.


• Assist in assessing extent of problems through inspections.


• Collect insurance estimates after reviewing extent of auto damage and resolve replacement and repair requirements.


• Draft work order consisting of required repair services after approvals and enter the order into work management system


• Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques and processes, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities


• Analyse and identify key areas of improvement and apply cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions and aid operational processes and efficiency


• Work closely with the Service Advisers team to ensure Service strategies are maximized


• Assists with the cashier and telephone duties as needed.


• Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the head of service.


• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. or equivalent in relevant discipline


• A minimum of 2 years cognate experience in similar role / automotive industry
