  • As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial health of our organization. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and reporting. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team.


Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

  • Monitor and improve internal controls.

  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

  • Forecast and budget for the company's financial needs and performance.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master is a plus.

  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or financial controller roles.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with other departments.
