Job Description



  • Responsible for managing the execution, direction and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization.

  • Efficiently managing budgets, and plan to maximize profitability organizing schedules, routes planning and driver’s supervision.

  • Consistently ensure that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements.

  • Arranging repairs and routine maintenance.

  • Maintaining and completing accurate records of all vehicles, purchases, pending and completed orders and transactions.

  • Reducing the risk of vehicle overloading

  • Monitor and report on transportation cost and ensure shipping documents are properly filed.

  • Develop new initiative and look for new ways to optimize the transport service offers.

  • Research, planned suggest cost-effective shipping methods.

  • Conduct regular safety audits on equipment and vehicle parts.

  • Organize training sessions for employees (e.g. proper use of machine and handling of hazardous materials)

  • Direct the development of plans for transport to include management to achieve targets.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislations and stay up-to-date with safety regulations.

  • Track vehicles and order using functional systems (e.g. tracking software.)

  • Good personal management skills, maintain strong working relationship with both driver and clients to achieve best value and satisfaction.
