Responsibilities

• Over-see all Maintenance work, supervise the mechanical team and proffer solutions to issues concerning breakdown, preventive and corrective measures.


• Ensure all mechanical related issues concerning the operational process is handled timely.


• Carry out routine item by item market/ price research


• Keep an updated record of maintenance related issues to avoid repeated jobs.


• Ensure the trucks are serviced on time and keep a proper record of servicing jobs.


• Ensure all bad truck parts that have been replaced are recorded and kept safely, whether repair is done at the Plant or on a trip.


• Keep record of workshop tools, spare parts, etc and monitor usage.

Education and Years of Experience

• First Degree in any discipline.


• At least two years hands-on experience at a supervisory level in vehicle maintenance.


• Strong communication skills.


• Displays a high level of integrity.

• Experience in the transportation industry.


• Outstanding organizational skills.


• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
