Job Overview



  • As a Pharmacologist in our community pharmacy, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to our customers.

  • Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring that medication management is safe and effective.


Working Schedule:



  • This position offers a 4-day work week, designed to ensure a healthy work-life balance for our dedicated team members.


Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct thorough reviews of prescription orders to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.

  • Provide comprehensive drug information to walk-in clients, including dosages, proper usage, and potential side effects.

  • Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy policies and protocols related to medication management.

  • Monitor the client's responses to prescribed medications and recommend adjustments as necessary.

  • Participate in training and supervising pharmacy support staff to ensure compliance with best practices and safety standards.

  • Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing and client interactions.

  • Stay current with developments in pharmacology and healthcare regulations.


Qualifications and Experience



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacology or a related field.

  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

  • Valid and up-to-date Pharmacologist license from the appropriate regulatory body in Nigeria.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to provide clear patient education.

  • Proficiency in computerized pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records.

  • Effective problem-solving skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
