Job Description
The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Maintaining the integrity and security of maintenance systems.
- Developing and maintaining documentation as well as its integrity. Coach, guide and assist with training of all maintenance staff.
- Assist with ensuring that system architecture environment remains aligned with the regional asset care strategy and beer division standards.
- Developing a strong understanding of the relevant SAP system modules. Organizing the systems and business preparations for SAP take-on procedures.
- Maintain packaging maintenance integrity.
- Plan and implement maintenance priorities.
- Manage Maintenance performance indicators.
- Optimise plant availability.
- Sharing of learning’s internally and throughout the division.
- Conduct administration.
- Support continuous improvement
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum B.Sc/HND Mechanical Engineering qualification
- At least 4 years experience within a maintenance environment, preferably with some supervisory experience
- Detailed mechanical knowledge of plant with in-depth understanding of electrical and instrumentation aspects
- PC literacy (Microsoft office package/SAP)
