Job Summary



  • As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the MD while leveraging your unique background in law and HR.

  • Your responsibilities will encompass executive support, legal assistance and strategic planning.

  • You will be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Managing Director's office.

  • This role demands exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of legal matters and human resources.


Key Responsibilities



  • Executive Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, including managing their schedule, coordinating travel, and handling correspondence.

  • Legal Assistance: Assist in legal matters, such as reviewing contracts, legal documents, and compliance issues, and liaise with the legal department as needed.

  • HR Coordination: Collaborate with the HR department on matters like recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation, applying your HR expertise.

  • Meeting Management: Plan and organize executive meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.

  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with HR best practices.

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in strategic planning, research, and analysis, providing recommendations on key initiatives and projects.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships on behalf of the Managing Director.

  • Document Management: Oversee the organization and management of confidential and sensitive documents, legal records, and HR files.

  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts, issues, or inquiries related to legal or HR matters within the organization.

  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the budget for the executive office, tracking expenses, and optimizing cost efficiencies.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field.

  • Substantial experience in HR roles with expertise in HR best practices and law.

  • Proven experience in providing executive-level support.

  • Knowledge of legal matters, contract review, and compliance.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in office software and legal/HR software tools.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
