We are looking for a highly capable Assistant Stock Controller to assist in managing our stock inventory.
You will be placing purchase orders and transferring stock, and maintaining purchase and pricing reports,maintain and update records, files and other correspondence in relation to the storage and despatch of goods.
Responsibilities
Checking stock levels regularly
Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock
Process and track purchase orders
Comparing items received against items ordered
Implementing or improving processes and procedures
Coordinating stock control operations with warehouse staff.
Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
Evaluating vendors and suppliers’ offers and negotiating profitable purchase prices.
Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed.
Requirements
BSc/ Hnd in accounting, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good negotiation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
