Description

Responsible for optimizing facility and equipment across all Gas installations, while minimizing equipment down time and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree / HND in Engineering or related discipline is required.


•  Minimum of Three (3) years’ relevant experience in Gas Operations.

Responsibility

• Ensure that up to date operating procedures / controls guiding Gas sales and operations are in place and enforced.


• Support Sales in ensuring Gas Filling plants, and retail skids are constantly stocked to meet the sales demand and zero stock out.


• Monitor daily Product Programming (Replenishment) Request for all Gas Filling Plants / Skids to ensure prompt order fulfilment.


• Drive proper housekeeping and service standards in all Gas Filling Plants to ensure compliance with look and feel standards.


• Drive established Health & Safety practices and ensure enforcement at all Gas Filling Plants


• Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with general vendors/ suppliers to ensure value for money and efficient service delivery.


• Implements Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitors vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements.


• Enforce preventive maintenance of all Gas storage / distribution equipment (including skid tanks, cylinders etc.) to prevent breakdowns and minimise downtime. Including equipment metering and calibration.


• Liaise with the Project / Technical Teams on all repairs / servicing of all Gas equipment.


• Ensure proper record keeping of Maintain maintenance operation and spend.


• Conduct weekly spot checks to verify state of Gas facilities.
