Job Description:

• Lead and manage the quality control department to ensure the production of high-quality product at lowest cost, while meeting the demands of the customers.


• Oversee all regulatory matters of the organization.


• Ensure the work of all down line subordinates as per standard and drive the team efficiently.


• Conduct periodical audits and ensure effective co-ordination with plant manager/production managers and maintain the desired standards in production process.


• Receive the market complaints of product and conduct proper analysis & co-ordinate with quality director and plant managers to resolve issues & mitigate repetition of same.


• Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are attained or exceeded.


• Monitor and enforce GMP, proper sanitation and housekeeping procedures.


• Ensure products are certified safe prior to releasing to the sales department.


• Monitor all communication related to quality/audits and implements all necessary changes.


• Assist operation management with process equipment and product/package troubleshooting and innovation.


• Collaborate with other departments to implement procedures and improve quality performance.


• Have a good working knowledge of statistical process control.


• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of water treatment plant.

Other Requirements:

• HND/B.SC in Food Technology or other related fields.


• Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in food and beverages industries.


• Good written and communication skills


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


• Keen attention to details


• Basic computing skills.
