Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical systems, ensuring their efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should be registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), possessing a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and design electrical engineering solutions for various projects, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes, regulations, and standards.


• Conduct electrical load calculations, system studies, and power distribution analysis to determine the requirements and feasibility of electrical designs.


• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems, using CAD software and applying engineering principles.


• Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.


• Perform electrical system modeling and simulations using software tools to analyze system performance, voltage drop, short-circuit calculations, and other relevant parameters.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.


• Professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).


• Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, with a focus on designing electrical systems for construction projects.


• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and construction practices in Nigeria.


• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP) and familiarity with relevant analysis tools.
