Responsibilities

• Planning & Focus of Preventive & predictive Maintenance schedule follow up and complete the activity timely.


• Should be hands-on experience on electrical motors repairing, trouble shooting, cabling etc.


• Repair and replace defective components


• Install, maintain and repair mechanical parts of machinery and equipment.


• Perform defensive repair and preservation of field, plant and shop for mechanical systems and equipment


• Prepare schedules and coordinate activities with varied mechanical divisions and sections.


• Preventive & predictive Maintenance schedule follow up and complete the activity timely.


• Inspect facilities regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance


• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.


• Recruit, train and supervise maintenance technicians during installations, repairs or maintenance


• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations


• Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time.


• Reports to Maintenance Manager


• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)

Requirements and Skills

• HND or Bachelor's Degree (highly advantageous).


• 5 years proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role


• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (mechanical/electrical, heating etc.)


• Good team player, good attitude, Hard and smart working nature, highly transparent person


• Solid knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations


• Understanding of budgeting and performance management


• Excellent planning and leadership abilities


• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with an eye for details


• Computer savvy with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.
