Requirements



  • Carry out the floor opening and closing procedure according to checklist

  • Ensure quality standards in product, equipment, atmosphere and service         using records, menus and appropriate reference material

  • Monitor the implementation of standards set for products and practice to        ensure food safety

  • Orient and encourage floor staff to promote menu items pushing sales

  • Ensure good grooming, hygiene, safety and sanitation practices in floor          area

  • Look after the assets and provide necessary inventories when needed

  • Report the needs of regular maintenance and upkeep of the floor and its        equipment

  • Monitor the floor staff schedule, attendance, section rotation, duties,                 performance, training and leave participate in their coaching, appraisal and     development opportunities

  • Ensure a good and professional communication channel among floor               teams and with the head of branch through logbooks, memos, briefings           and meetings.

  • Seeking and soliciting feedback from guests and handling their complaints

  • Review the yearly plan for events and promotions with the head of branch

  • Report the floor state of operations to Head of Branch, providing advice for     possible improvement

  • Ensure OUTSTANDING customer service is rendered to guests at all times     and in a timely manner.

  • Carry out other duties that maybe assigned.

  • Food safety training is a plus


QUALIFICATION: Relevant degree or HND in business studies, management, hospitality management or hotel and catering.


YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role obtained in a well-structured fine dining or casual dining restaurant of a reputable organization.
