Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos. We are seeking a Utilities / Boiler Technician to operate and maintain the heating and cooling systems and the boilers at our manufacturing plant. The responsibilities of this role include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and performing repairs as needed, among other things.

Qualifications

• Trade test 1,2,3/ND/HND/BSc


• Proven working experience as a Utilities / Boiler Technician.


• Expertise in boiler operation, water treatment, and thermal dynamics.


• Detailed knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.


• Ability to use test equipment, such as voltmeters and pressure gauges.


• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including working in confined spaces, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder diagrams.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and attend training sessions as required.
