Job Description
Manage the staffing process including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and in compliance with all local and federal labour requirements
- Ensure registration with relevant government agencies; brief management with respect to any legislative changes
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans and office policies
- Develop training materials and performance management programs
- Use HR information systems to document, maintain and update all HR records
- Produce monthly HR metrics (including hires, transfers) for reporting and control purposes
- Investigate employee issues or conflicts and bring them to resolution
- Maintain HR systems and processes and use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback
- Partner with Management to ensure that HR strategy is aligned with organizational goals
- Monitor late arrival, early departure and absenteeism, assist with payroll by providing relevant employee information on these issues as well as holidays, leave and sick days taken
- Design and implement employee recognition and retention strategies
- Work with accounts department to process payroll monthly
- Ensure efficiency of office equipment and facilities including arranging for necessary repairs and maintaining inventories of equipment
- Ensuring that the office is stocked with necessary supplies including stationery and sanitary items
- Generally providing required administrative support
- Any other assigned responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- B.sc/HND in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management/ Business Administration or any related field
- 2-4 years working experience as an HR/Admin Officer
- CIPM is an added advantage
- The person must reside on the Mainland.
