Responsibilities for Facilities Manager:



  • Manage processes and services that support the core business of the company.

  • Manage day to day operations.

  • Entrench a most suitable and conducive working environment for all employees to deliver agreed high quality service standards.

  • Oversee and agree contracts and provide for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology and so on

  • Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security

  • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards

  • Manage budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness

  • Advise businesses on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness

  • Oversee building projects, renovations or refurbishments

  • Draft reports and making written recommendations.


Qualifications for Facilities Manager



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions

  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.

  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management

  • Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter

  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
