Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance of production and electrical equipment.


• Perform and supervise maintenance related repairs.


• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility.


• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment.


• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.


• Hands-on, Equipment Troubleshooting (generators, ACs, fridge &freezer, oven/electrical oven, water treatment plant, etc)


• Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed


• Manage unplanned maintenance, repair and recovery of equipment as required.


• Ensure the maintenance team is fully operational with all utilities functioning property.


• Carry out daily walk rounds, noting any defect and raising it with Facility Manager.


• Monitor and ensure that agreed work by staff or contractors are completed satisfactorily and follow-up on any deficiencies.


• Follow-up on timelines to ensure periodic services such as generator, and facility fumigation is rendered as at when due.


• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.


• Maintain detail log of failing work components replaced and associated cost.


• Ensure the basic facilities, such as water, sewer is well maintained.


• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies.


• Maintaining day-to-day operations of maintenance activities, such as delegating or completing maintenance order occurrences for maintenance officers.


• Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.


• Undertaking building and grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng, B.Sc, M.Eng, or M.Sc Degree with at least 5 years experience.
