Responsibilities

• Install and service pumps, ensuring their optimal functionality.


• Align pumps and motors accurately for efficient operation.


• Mount and service gearboxes, ensuring smooth transmission of power and backwashing of heat exchanger plates.


• Service and change valves to maintain proper flow and control.


• Perform maintenance on separators, PLF vibrators, PLF rubber lining and related equipment.


• Service lecithin, hydration, coolers, expanders, conveyors, pumps and related machinery.


• Maintain and service gearboxes of hydration tanks.


• Service Tupumar heat exchanger gaskets for effective heat transfer.


• Manage and maintain steam trace lines for temperature control.


• Grind and service flaker rolls to maintain smooth operation.


• Perform maintenance on hydraulic units, membrane filters, and pressure leaf filters.


• Service vibrators and jacks for various applications.


• Ensure proper maintenance and safety of all tools and equipment used.


• Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental practices and PPEs.


• Uphold good hygiene and housekeeping practices in the workplace.


• Complete any other assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Job requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing firm.


• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.


• Skilled in using cutting tools and welding machines.


• Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.


• Knowledge of different metal types and their welding requirements.


• Ability to troubleshoot and repair welding equipment.


• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.


• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.


• Strong problem-solving abilities in industrial contexts.


• Effective communication skills for collaboration within the team.
