Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with specialized experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, along with a deep understanding of financial systems, security protocols, and data handling within the FinTech domain. The candidate should be able to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions to support our FinTech applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integrate backend services with various financial systems, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial modules into the overall system architecture.


• Implement scalable and high-performance solutions that meet the needs of the business and adhere to industry best practices.


• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services for our FinTech applications.


• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data.


• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.


• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend services.


• Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization activities.


• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend systems, APIs, and integration points.


• Document code, processes, and system architecture.


• Collaborate with frontend developers, product designer, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.


• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer in a FinTech environment.


• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.


• Experience with financial systems, payment processing, and security protocols.


• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.


• Understanding of RESTful APIs.


• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms is a plus.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.


• Knowledge of financial regulations 


• Familiarity with DevOps Practice and tools
