JOB OVERVIEW:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s company as an Inventory Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels in the recycling facility. The Inventory Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate tracking, efficient storage, and timely replenishment of materials to support the production process.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Monitor and maintain optimal levels of raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to support production demands.

  • Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock records.

  • Generate purchase orders based on inventory levels and production requirements.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate quantities of materials.

  • Analyze inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.

  • Work closely with production, logistics, and procurement teams to coordinate inventory activities.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to address inventory-related issues and maintain smooth operations.

  • Conduct regular quality checks on incoming materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards.


REQUIREMENTS:



  • BSC/HND  in any discipline from a reputable company

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or recycling environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to team success.
