ACTIVITIES
- Carry out the smooth running of the sickbay on site
- Provide adequate medical attention/treatment to staff on site.
- Insure the permanent availability of medical equipment.
- Receive and take in charge of all medical emergencies.
- On first call for all medevac, supervises the rescue chain in close co-operation with the emergency nurse from the clinic and under the CMO authority.
- Participate to maintain up to date the first aid knowledge
- Promotion/Instruction of first aid.
- Generate monthly report to the CMO on all aspects of medical services.
- Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities :
- Hygiene supervision and evaluation of risk hazard.
- Good knowledge of emergencies procedures.
- Monitor the hygiene situation in the kitchens
The position is essential in the Onne site organization in terms of ensuring
- prompt response to medical emergencies on site
- Continuous monitoring of personnel to be sure of their medical status remains fit to carry out assigned duties
- Ensuring good hygiene of personnel working environment is maintained at all times
- Prompt attention to minor illnesses and conduct referral when the need arise
- Failure to do so may expose the site personnel to significant health and wellbeing issues such as physical breakdown and illnesses
- leading to absence from work, loss of man hours with severe impact on operations.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Recognized diploma in Emergency Nursing.
- 5 years of work experience in an emergency intensive care unit, operative theatre,
- Should be able to demonstrate competencies to administer and run the clinic and care of medical equipment
- Good computer skills and user software knowledge.
- Practical experience in medical support of Offshore or Onshore fields, in isolated environments.
- Basic knowledge's in maintenance of technical equipment.
