The NACE Coating Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the coating application and surface preparation are compliant with project requirements and industry standards.
Manage operations in surface treatment: (Electroplating, phosphating, coating, and galvanizing) and packaging function.
Work with chemical/consumable suppliers and upstream production teams
Work with all staff and management to drive business performance.
Report surface treatment and packaging key performance indicators monthly
Report and document any relevant activities as required by the company
Support developing and maintaining quality, environmental and safety procedures and certification (ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007)
Carry out visual inspections of coatings, assessing and monitoring environmental conditions, and reviewing and interpreting surface preparation and coating product data sheets.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years work experience.
At least 5 years of experience as a Coating or Surface Preparation Inspector
MUST have rope access certification Lv1 or 2
NACE Level 2 Certification
Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and codes such as NACE, SSPC, ASTM, and ISO
Capable of carrying out visual assessments and familiar with the use of surface preparation and coating product data sheets
