OVERVIEW

Our client, a recycling company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Officer to join their manufacturing team. The role involves overseeing electrical systems, ensuring their efficient operation, and maintaining electrical equipment within the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in managing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.


• Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.


• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance for electrical components.


• Develop and implement procedures for safe handling and operation of electrical systems.


• Collaborate with other departments to support production goals while maintaining electrical safety standards.


• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.


• Proven minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Officer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.


• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.


• Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems.


• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve electrical issues efficiently.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical systems in manufacturing settings.


• Relevant certifications or licenses may be advantageous.
