Job Description



We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Factory Manager to oversee our laundry operations. The ideal candidate will lead the production team, ensure efficient processing of laundry services, maintain quality standards, and drive operational excellence. 


Key Responsibilities:· 



  • Oversee and manage all aspects of laundry operations including washing, drying, pressing, folding, and packaging.

  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely processing of laundry orders while maintaining quality standards.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Pressers, Taggers, Laundry officers, Dry-cleaning supervisor and quality control officers.

  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities and efficiency.

  • Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure cleanliness, proper handling, and care of laundered items.

  • Monitor adherence to industry standards, hygiene protocols, and safety regulations within the laundry facility.

  • Manage and schedule maintenance for laundry equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

  • Allocate resources efficiently, including laundry supplies, chemicals, and manpower to meet operational demands.

  • Coordinate with the Admin teams to manage inventory of laundry supplies.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, reorder supplies as needed, and optimize stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.

  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement.

  • Implement process improvements, workflow optimizations, and cost-saving measures to increase productivity and profitability.

  • Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction, address specific requests, and resolve any laundry-related issues promptly.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and senior management regarding operational updates, challenges, and successes.

  • Carry out every other duty assigned by the COO.


Requirements:



  • Proven experience (5 years) in a managerial role within a laundry or textile-related industry, demonstrating expertise in production management and quality control.

  • In-depth knowledge of laundry processes, machinery, and chemicals used in laundry operations.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

  • Proficiency in using laundry-specific software for inventory control and production planning.

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as operations management, hospitality, or related disciplines is advantageous. The role involves overseeing operations within a laundry facility, requiring regular presence on the production floor and interaction with laundry equipment.
