Key Responsibilities:



  • Financial Reporting: Monthly and Annual preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements adhering to US GAAP and international financial reporting standards. Ensuring deadlines are met according to Caterpillar and Solar deadlines. Managing accounts receivable, journal entry preparation, monthly closing & consolidation, and account reconciliation activities. Providing accounting and finance counsel to support the District Service Manager.

  • Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing and payment of company’s taxes such as Personal Income Tax, VAT, WHT, NCD and CIT.

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the budgeting , forecasting and financial modelling efforts to provide insights into the District’s financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Internal Customer Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to the Regional Leadership in order to support informed decision-making.


Qualifications:



  • Higher National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Professional certification in accounting or related field is a must.

  • Proven experience 3+ years in similar role within Oil servicing industry and a thorough knowledge of the financial accounting activities of a multinational (f.e.Big Four Firms) may be an added advantage.


Skills:



  • Excellent written and oral communication.

  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Team player. Lead and adapt fast.

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

  • Good interpersonal relation.

  • Certified Chartered Accountant
