Job Description

• The individual in this role will support the Head, of Enterprise Risk Management ERM) to roll out the operational risk framework and strategy for Leadway within an agreed timeframe with particular emphasis on the risk and control self-assessments. This includes defining the Operational Risk (OR) governance, top risks reporting, risk appetite, and tolerance metrics.


• The primary responsibility of the role holder would be to manage the operational risk framework at Leadway Assurance while also providing support to one of the Leadway group's subsidiary companies. The major tasks, duties, and responsibilities that commonly define the operational risk analyst job description are listed below;


• Fully responsible for the completion of the Business Unit Risk Assessments.


• Promote an appropriate culture of awareness and attention to OR throughout the company in line with evolving regulatory requirements by embedding the three lines of defense and enhancing the OR reporting and governance.


• Give quality advice, guidance, and training to the business lines so that the business owners can manage its risks and meet their business and regulatory obligations.


• Own and drive the process of embedding the operational risk framework throughout the business areas and contribute to the risk and control culture of the organization through knowledge sharing and awareness on the importance of risk management.

Job Qualifications

Academic Requirements :

• Relevant undergraduate degrees (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.)


• A professional qualification of IRM, ISO certifications.

Desired work experience:

• Minimum of 6 years experience.


• Technical understanding of ISO standards.


• Excellent business writing skills.


• Proficient in all Microsoft Applications- Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and other tech-related computer languages, i.e. R, Python, VBA etc.
