Responsibilities
- The Accounting / Inventory Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and managing inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee the tracking and management of inventory levels.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with records.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors to optimize costs and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Work closely with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in accounting and inventory management.
- Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
