Position Overview

Job Duties



  • Lead and mentor the sales and marketing teams, setting clear goals and strategies to meet and exceed goals, drive revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Manage, motivate, and develop the sales and marketing teams, ensuring collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to enhance the company's market position.

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, monitor industry trends, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct regular visits to sales representatives territories to support and guide their activities.

  • Implement strategies to recover debts, monitor outstanding accounts, and reduce overall debt levels.

  • Oversee and optimize the daily sales activities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies to drive sales growth.

  • Contribute to the development of sales policies, procedures, and guidelines that support a proactive and results-driven sales approach.

  • Attend Sales Strategy & Assessment meetings to provide valuable insights and contribute to the development of sales plans and strategies

  • Efficiently handle and supervise all incoming sales inquiries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of our products/services and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

  • Proactively identify and address any challenges or concerns related to the sales process, collaborating with internal teams to implement effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is added advantage.

  • 5-7 years of proven success in managing sales and marketing teams within the publishing industry.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing trends, digital platforms, and sales strategies in the publishing sector.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute effective plans.

  • 6. Must possess elevated emotional intelligence for effective interpersonal communication and conflict resolution.

  • 7. Must possess a competitive mindset that drives success through well-thought-out strategies in a dynamic business environment.

  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain exponential growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities, consistently exceeding established targets.

  • A wealth of experience in successfully navigating the intricacies of debt recovery processes, demonstrating a deep understanding of legal and compliance frameworks.
