Job Description



Purpose



  • Responsible for all Business Development, Marketing and Sales strategy, processes, resources, and activities to boost revenue, profitability, and customer base of the business. 


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, grow our customer base, and expand into new markets. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with other companies in the industry. 

  • Ensuring that service benefits and value propositions are available to target markets and accounts.

  • Overall ownership and achievement of marketing and sales operational targets. Responsibility for product, service and solution market share and profitability 

  • Plan, develop and supervise the execution of strategic brand PR and media communications initiatives.

  • Review progress on set objectives, plans, KPIs on monthly/quarterly basis. Supervises and approves output of all team members.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director 


Qualifications



  • Bachelors’ degree 

  • An MBA would be an added advantage.

  • At least 5 years commercial leadership experience

  • Knowledge of some or all: Energy management, Metering & Renewable energy


Competence and Skills



  • Proven business development experience – nurturing concepts to reality, including good understanding of project management, customer/stakeholder engagement, deal structuring and team management in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills.
