Oversee preparation of the group consolidated management accounts every month.
Review and validate general ledger entries on the ERP for accuracy and completeness.
Supervise and manage the Account Receivables, Accounts payable, and General ledger Accounts entries on a timely basis.
SuperviseInventory activities- Inventory Receipts, Issues, Stock count, Costing of Stock items, and posting of activities into the General ledger accounts.
Conduct an in-depth analysis of the company's financial performance using relevant KPIs.
Manage month-end closing of the Account Receivables, Accounts payable, and all general ledger accounts.
Supervise the Accounts Reconciliation of Paystack and other payment gateway institutions.
Relationship management with Tax and other regulatory agencies
Monitor updates in financial laws and regulations and advise management on compliance.
Actively participate in the financial and overall business improvement processes and procedures.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and train the Junior Accounts Personnel.
Monitor daily/weekly financial activities and monthly Accounts Reconciliation (Bank Accounts and other GL Accounts)
Supervise entries and remittances of the various Tax obligations—WHT, VAT, PAYE, Staff Pensions, and others.
Actively participate in the Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual preparation of Financial/Management Accounts and other Financial Performance Reports.
Actively participate in the annual Statutory Financial Audit and other Regulatory Audits.
Review and validate all invoices and accounting schedules (e.g., fixed asset register, payment schedules, receivables aging analysis)
Any other tasks as may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position.
Chartered Accounting qualification (ICAN or ACCA) is required.
Experience with a fast food chain required
Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAGE, ERP, etc.
An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
Attention to detail & thoroughness.
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance especially in the fast-food industry
Excellent organizational & leadership skills.
Outstanding communication & interpersonal abilities
