Job Description
Principal Duties:
- Responsible for the progress of all Company's projects.
- Responsible for project development and management.
- Develop and execute business plans and strategies for effcient outcomes.
- Report and provide strategic advice to the Managing Director on all projects.
- Prepare, plan and implement comprehensive and cost-effective market operations and development activities.
- Maintain a good reporting line and system with the Company and its sister companies.
- Monitor and report construction activities across all project sites.
- Maintain and build trust relationships with shareholders, business partners and authorities for the progress of the business.
- Oversee the Company's financial performance, investments and other business ventures as it relates to its objectives.
- Supervise Company's project designs and implementation of same on site(s).
- Manage the activities of team members under your supervision.
- Ensure continuous Company survival and growth in the construction industry.
Knowledge/SkilIs/Qualifications:
- Proven experience of over 10 years as a project manager and a quantity surveyor.
- Familiar with business management practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Managerial skills and competence.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrable experience in construction.
- Strong understanding of business operation and performance measures.
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
- Ability to supervise and build teams, delegate responsibility and develop employee talents.
