  • As a Legal Associate (NYSC), you will work within our legal team to support various legal functions.

  • This role is designed for candidates who have recently completed their NYSC service and are seeking practical experience in a legal setting.


Responsibilities

Legal Research and Analysis:



  • Conducting legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law.

  • Analyzing legal issues and providing concise summaries.


Document Review and Drafting:



  • Reviewing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.


Assisting in Litigation Matters:



  • Supporting senior lawyers in litigation preparation, including document gathering and analysis.


Corporate Support:



  • Assisting in corporate governance matters and contract management.


Client Interaction:



  • Interacting with clients, attending meetings, and providing basic legal support under supervision.


Administrative Support:



  • Providing administrative support to the legal team, including organizing files and maintaining documentation.


Education



  • Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) Degree from an accredited university.


Experience:



  • Currently in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.


Other Requirements:



  • Must be in the current NYSC program.

  • Demonstrated interest in the legal field through coursework or internships.

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic legal team.

  • Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality.
