Description:

• Facility Maintenance: Design, implement, and oversee maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment to ensure continuous and safe operations.


• Project Management: Provide electrical engineering expertise for new projects, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and commissioning of electrical systems.


• Equipment Reliability: Conduct reliability assessments and implement measures to enhance the reliability and performance of electrical equipment, such as generators, switchgear, motors, and control systems.


• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Stay informed about updates and changes in electrical codes relevant to the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. Or HND in Engineering or any related field. Professional engineering license is a plus.


• A minimum of 7 years' experience as an Electrical Technologist in the Oil & Gas industry.


• Several years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry with exposure to upstream operations.


• Proficiency in electrical design, equipment selection, power distribution, and familiarity with relevant software tools. Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial automation is beneficial.


• Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with the ability to identify and mitigate electrical hazards.


• Effective communication skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
