A B.Sc. degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum of a second-class upper division.
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in human resources management.
Relevant HR certifications will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Packages will be an added advantage.
Job Description:
Work with the Managing Director to strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees and HR initiatives.
Develop, manage, and oversee the functional HR budget and manage expenses within budget allocations.
Lead all activities related to employment, legislation, HR systems, practices, procedures, compliance, day-to-day development.
Continually educate employees on company policies and keep employee handbook current.
Maintain HR records, including employee files, compensation, and benefits information.
Oversee the recruitment and hiring process report on its performance.
Manage employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor employee performance and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
Administer compensation and payroll programs and ensure accurate processing of payroll.
Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and employee unions.
Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
Understand and adhere to all pertinent labor laws.
