Job Description



Folixx Hospitality, Lagos, needs an ambitious and energetic Business Manager to help design and implement business strategies to promote the attainment of our goal. He/She will head one of our organisation’s Business Unit. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through this role.


Responsibilities



  • Coordinating and overseeing daily restaurant/lounge management operations

  • Motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and treat all staff matters

  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

  • Maintaining the business’ revenue, profitability, and quality goals

  • Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House operations

  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction and regularly review product quality

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

  • Ensure the availability of all items in the business unit.

  • Assessing and improving profitability, profit, and loss marginalization

  • Conversant with market price, manage operating costs in accordance with budgets

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations

  • Manage the unit’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

  • Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses

  • Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary

  • Any other duties assigned by Management


Requirements and skills



  • Minimum of 8 years of experience

  • Proven working experience at a Management level in the Hospitality industry is an added advantage.

  • Proven sales track record

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Proficiency in English

  • Market knowledge

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Great negotiation skills

  • Ability to build rapport/interpersonal skills.

  • Time management and planning skills

  • Numeric disciplines. BSc/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, or a relevant  field
