Role Overview: 

We are looking for driven passionate problem solvers and self-starters to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Managing the credit underwriting officer by driving communications with merchants, following up with disbursals, and repayments. 

What you'll do: 

• Review loan requests 


• Evaluate creditworthiness and risks, prior to underwriting 


• Drive communications with internal teams and merchants at every point of the loan journey 


• Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation 


• Maintain updated records of loan applications 


• Follow up with clients about loan renewals 


• Monitor progress of existing loans 

What you'll need: 

• Bachelor's Degree 


• 4yrs+ Experience in Credit Operations Management within the fintech, banking or financial service sector or similar role 


• Strong understanding of Lending processes, documentation requirements and credit risk management.


• Familiarity with Nigeria Lending Regulations, data protection laws, and industry best practice's 


• Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with team members, stakeholders and external partners 


• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional teams 


• Perceptive and a fast learner: you’re able to quickly understand the technology that powers Traction Apps, and able to help customers achieve their goals, even if they’re unable to articulate those goals


• A positive, polite, confident, sincere, and friendly disposition
