Support the Head, Legal to Implement key legal processes that relate to legal drafting, negotiations, and commercial agreements.
Provide administrative support on Board matters and any related function.
Support Head, legal to review and provide advice to the business on matters concerning applicable laws and contracts required for the operation of the business. Also support with the interpretation of laws and regulations to help the business design appropriate programs for compliance.
Support Head, Legal in the process of preparing and defending the business interests in commercial contracts and in a court of law whenever required.
Support Head, Legal to educate the members of staff on implications of laws and risk of non-compliance. In addition, help the business understand the risks and opportunities in new and upcoming laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law and admitted to the Bar.
2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency expected in spoken and written English
Self-driven, result-oriented with Business partnering skills
Excellent business communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in layman's terms without “lawyering” and driving business leaders to the informed decision-making process
