• You will be working as Project Manager and you will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Lagos, Nigeria.


• In this role you will be reporting to Service Sales Manager and will be responsible to lead the execution of small projects with low/medium complexity and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and efficient resource utilization


• Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow, identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risk and ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued


• Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project, ensuring that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed


• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer


• Effectively communicating appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders, acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues


• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicating with all stakeholders


• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer

Your background

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Project Management.


• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in MV and LV switchgear, installation and commissioning.


• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Projects


• Fluency in English language is mandatory
