Job Summary



  • Our client needs the services of a professional Chartered Accountant to manage and supervise the Accounts Department.


Description 

The job responsibilities include the following:



  • Preparation and monitoring of budgets

  • Cost control

  • Bank reconciliations

  • General Ledgers Management

  • Salary administration

  • Pension administration

  • General Ledger.

  • Account Payable.

  • Fixed asset management.

  • Inventory management.

  • Vat & WHT computation.

  • Personal income tax computation for principal staff.

  • Receipting management.

  • Debit & Credit note management.

  • Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with customers.

  • Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.

  • Collaborating with all departments to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.

  • Follow up on debts outstanding

  • Computation of WHT payment advice for customers that fail to remit deductions to reduce our company income tax

  • Giving an update on the stock report


Requirements



  • The ideal candidate must be a Graduate of Accounting and must have qualified as a Chartered Accountant with 8 years and above practicing experience.

  • Candidates living within Ikeja or other close by vicinity will have an advantage
