Diagnose and treat poultry with injuries or diseases to nurture them back to health.
Carry out post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Monitor the recovery process of birds to determine the need for changes in treatment plan.
Guide and supervise Farm operations to ensure their operations are in accordance with set standards.
Implement quarantine and testing processes when dealing with communicable disease to prevent transmission other animals or to human.
Monitor raw materials such as Feeds, Day Old Chicks, Water, Shavings amidst others to ensure they are safe and beneficial to health.
Give guideline to best safety practice.
Review general Poultry Veterinary operations with the Head of Veterinary Service and other team members.
To assist in preparation of workable HACCP plan.
Research on modern practices.
Collaborate with the marketing and technical team to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified operational system.
To help with all human resource related issues.
To process internal course paperwork.
To assist with the review of the continuous improvement database.
To assist in implementing measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of records and documentation.
To assist in application of the cores of food safety and quality in general operations.
To assist in monitoring and evaluation of general farm operations.
Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director and Quality Assurance Manager/Head of Veterinarian Services.
Requirements and Skills
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or related field.
