Job Description:
A technical drawing tutor instructs students in drafting techniques, teaches precision in geometric drawings, and guides in the use of drafting tools to create accurate and detailed technical illustrations.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Drafting Techniques: Instructing students on the fundamentals of technical drawing, including line types, geometric construction, orthographic projection, and dimensioning.
- Guidance in Drafting Tools Usage: Teaching the use of drafting tools such as T-squares, triangles, compasses, and technical pens, ensuring accuracy in technical illustrations.
- Demonstrating Software Skills: Familiarizing students with computer-aided design (CAD) software for technical drawing and assisting in its practical application.
- Geometric Accuracy: Teaching precision and accuracy in drawing geometric shapes, curves, and angles, emphasizing adherence to industry standards.
- Interpreting Technical Drawings: Assisting students in interpreting and creating technical drawings based on engineering or architectural specifications and standards.
- Problem-Solving Assistance: Helping students solve complex technical drawing problems, providing guidance on layout, scale, and presentation.
- Reviewing and Feedback: Reviewing students' technical drawings, providing constructive feedback, and suggesting improvements for clarity and precision.
- Safety and Standards Compliance: Ensuring students understand safety protocols and adhere to industry standards while creating technical drawings.
- Project and Assignment Planning: Designing projects and assignments that challenge students to apply technical drawing principles and enhance their skills.

Education/Experience
- B. Ed in Technical Drawing and Other Relevant Certification.
- Firm understanding and practical experience of the Cambridge Curriculum
- Minimum of Eight Years Experience
