• We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ratings Research Manager to lead our Ratings team.


• This role involves managing a team of statisticians and data analysts, overseeing research projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality ratings and insights.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Manage and lead a team of statisticians and data analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.


• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging continuous learning and development.

Research Strategy

• Develop and implement research strategies to enhance the accuracy and relevance of ratings.


• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging methodologies in research.

Project Management

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of research projects.


• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, meeting high-quality standards.

Data Analysis and Interpretation

• Direct the statistical analysis of data, ensuring robust methodologies and accurate interpretation of results.


• Collaborate with the team to develop innovative approaches to analyze and present metrics.

Quality Assurance

• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate data and ratings.


• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, product development, and client services, to integrate data into various products and services.


• Work closely with external partners and data providers to enhance data coverage and accuracy.

Reporting and Communication

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on ratings to internal and external stakeholders.


• Communicate research findings effectively, translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ratings team.


• Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.


• Proven experience (5 years) in managing research teams, preferably in ESG, finance or related fields.


• Strong background in statistical analysis and data interpretation.


• Familiarity with ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements.


• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools.


• Excellent project management and organizational skills.


• Strong communication and presentation skills.
