Summary

• As a Senior Design and Supervising Engineer, you will be responsible for all HVACR equipment, HVACR controls and BMS designs, specifications, estimations, cost control and associated documents to determine the exact scope required.


• You will act as a subject matter expert during the pre-bid process providing support with equipment selection, project estimation and production of quotations and tender packages, all in collaboration with field Sales Team.

Responsibilities

Other key responsibilities will include:

• Design and costing of HVACR, CONTROLS & BMS solutions in line with customers and Consultants expectations and tender specifications


• Calculation and evaluation of cooling load for DX Systems (VRF, RTU, RAC PAC)


• Calculation and evaluation of cooling load for CHW Systems (CHILERS, AHU, FCU, PUMP and CHW accessories).


• Sizing and selection of Ventilation System.


• Duct Sizing and Selection for air Volume requirements and selection of associated controls.


• CHW pump sizing and Selection.


• Development of supporting drawing/diagrams relevant to solution requirements.


• Associated control system functional description.


• Associated logistical and installation requirements along with practical risk and installation assessments.


• You will be required to attend to site reviews with customers, suppliers, consultants & contractors. Travel will be expected in this role, and you will support the sales team with your technical expertise around HVACR design.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience and Attributes Required:

• Qualifications: HND/BSc in Mechanical or Building Service Engineer


• Aptitudes: Effective individual with vast technical experience. Technically aware and Decision Maker based analytical thinking. Demonstrable Technical Skills/Understanding.


• Specific Experience: Business to business & Business to Customer based technical Knowledge & Understanding of HVACR Equipment.

Essential Knowledge:

• Must have over 8 years of Proven Experience in Designing, Planning, Scheduling, Inspecting, Reporting, Cost Estimating within HVACR environment.


• Ability to manage estimation process, preparation of accurate BID packages (BOQ and BOM), Procurement plans and contract review.


• Working knowledge of mainstream HVAC systems and networks


• Experience in HVAC solutions, primarily Chilled Water Systems, VRV and VRF installations


• Good understanding of Engineer Drawings (Mechanical and Electrical)


• Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels.


• Must have Excellency verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.


• Must be competent in the use of the following software:


• AutoCAD- MEP


• HAP (load calculation Software)


• Revit


• Sketchup


• Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word and Outlook, Teams, power point and Dynamic 365 CRM.
