The Project Manager will play a critical role in planning, executing, and closing cybersecurity projects to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
This position requires a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for cybersecurity projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables.
Identify and assess cybersecurity risks associated with projects.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure the implementation of security controls.
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity specialists, engineers, and analysts.
Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Monitor project progress against timelines and milestones.
Ensure that projects are executed within budget and meet quality standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including risk registers, issue logs, and lessons learned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years working experience in IT Project Management
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification.
