Job Description/Responsibilities


Sales Team Management:



  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of health insurance sales agents.

  • Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to the sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales goals.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create lead generation campaigns and foster new business opportunities.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions.

  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess their satisfaction and address any concerns.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance agents, brokers, and other industry partners.


Product Knowledge:



  • Stay updated on the latest health insurance products, policies, and industry trends.

  • Train sales team members on new products and features.


Sales Strategy Development:



  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.


Compliance and Reporting:



  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.


Collaboration:



  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance sales initiatives and product offerings.

  • Work closely with other departments to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer experience


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in health insurance sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of health insurance products, policies, and industry regulations.

  • Proficient in using sales CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Insurance certifications and licenses would be an added advantage.
