Job Description/Responsibilities


Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:

  • Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.


Product Knowledge and Training:



  • Ensure the sales team possesses comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and services.

  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on industry trends and product developments.


Market Research and Analysis:



  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about competitors.

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.


Sales Forecasting and Reporting:



  • Develop sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance.

  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives.


Collaboration with Other Departments:



  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and underwriting, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and partners.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to enhance the company's profile.


Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:



  • Ensure that sales activities comply with industry regulations and legal requirements.

Budget Management:



  • Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize returns.

  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure budget adherence.


Technology Utilization:



  • Embrace and leverage technology, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, to streamline sales processes and enhance efficiency.


Performance Evaluation:



  • Establish and implement performance metrics for the sales team.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the sales team.

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in insurance sales.

  • Proven work experience driving B2B, B2C, channel sales, agency in Insurance sales

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.

  • Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.

  • Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to efficiently lead and manage multiple sales communications simultaneously.
