Customer Acquisition:
- Actively engage in prospecting and lead generation to acquire new customers.
- Utilize various channels, including online platforms, social media, and networking events, to identify potential clients.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of the insurtech firm's products and services.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to potential customers.
Sales Presentations:
- Conduct compelling sales presentations to showcase the insurtech products and address customer needs.
- Tailor presentations to different audiences, including B2B and B2C clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and addressing inquiries.
- Foster customer loyalty through excellent service and personalized interactions.
Sales Targets:
- Set and achieve individual and team sales targets to contribute to the overall sales objectives of the insurtech firm.
- Monitor and report on sales performance regularly.
Lead Qualification:
- Qualify leads based on customer needs, budget, and potential for conversion.
- Prioritize leads to optimize time and effort.
Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as underwriting and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on market insights.
Sales Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and sales activities.
- Use CRM systems and other tools to streamline the sales process.
Communication Skills:
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Articulate complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Customer Education:
- Educate customers on the benefits of insurtech solutions, emphasizing the value proposition.
- Address any misconceptions or concerns related to insurance products.
Cross-Selling and Upselling:
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products or services.
- Maximize revenue generation per customer.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Provide customers with transparent and accurate information.
Feedback Loop:
- Collect customer feedback and insights to contribute to product improvements and service enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry best practices, sales techniques, and insurtech innovations.
- Participate in training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience minimum in B2B insurance sales
- Solid networking skills.
- Experience using Hubspot for sales management.
- Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
- Effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.
- Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple sales communications simultaneously
