Job Description/Responsibilities

• Assist the Radiologist in carrying out activities allotted.


• Prepare patients for examination procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety during testing.


• Prepare X-ray films by positioning patients so that their images can be captured accurately.


• Operate imaging equipment, including x-ray machines, CT scanners, ultrasound machines, MRI scanners, mammography equipment, and fluoroscopy machines.


• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care in the Clinic to ensure that examinations are completed successfully.


• Monitor patients' reactions to radiation exposure during examinations and observe for signs of discomfort or pain.


• Take patient histories and record data about each examination performed.


• Record findings from examinations in medical records.


• Ensure safety processes for patients and staff.

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role


• Proficiency with computers, and aptitude to learn new software and systems.


• Proficient with all imaging equipment, including x-ray machines, CT scanners, ultrasound machines, MRI scanners,etc.


• Ability  to clean, sterilise and maintain radiography tools and equipment.


• Ability to conduct QA of active radiologist and transcriptions.
